Middle Class

The middle class is a group of people which, although engaged in labor, generally has control over the productive forces employed in their labor.

In present-day society, the middle class is the “petite-bourgoeisie,” which consists generally of artisans, small business owners, etc, who control their own productive forces but are nevertheless required to work them.
